Show Us Your Ways (live)
Here is a new worship song I wrote this past week while reading in Psalms. The idea for the chorus came from Psalm 25:4-5 and the verses come from Psalm 15 & 24 plus some more verses in chapter 25. This song is a cry to our generation to seek the Lord and put our trust in his ways. It is cry to God to show us his ways and help us to walk in them!
Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; —Psalm 15:1-2
Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. —Psalm 24:3-6
Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. —Psalm 25:4-5
If you enjoy the video please pass it on, thanks!
Lyrics
Show Us Your Ways
Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?
The one whose walk is blameless
The one who seeks your will
So let’s be such a generation
One who humbly seeks your face
Lord, we desperately need your salvation
Guide us in your truth
Show us your ways
Lord, who may ascend your mountain?
Who may stand in your holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart
The one who longs to see your face
Who, then, are those who fear the Lord?
Let us shout aloud and sing his praise
For he alone is worthy of all
Upright and faithful are his ways
Show us your ways, oh God our Savior
Teach us your paths, oh Righteous One
Guide us in your truth, oh Great Redeemer
Draw us to the arms of your Beloved Son
Psalm 15:1-5; 24:3-6; 25:4-5,8-10,12-13
