Hello from Golconda Fort in Hyderabad, India
Released: February 21, 2014
So we’ve been in Hyderabad, India for 7 days so far on a business trip and will be heading home to the US on Sunday the 23rd. Today we visited the amazing Golconda Fort (also known as Golkonda). Here’s a short little video I shot from the 400 foot top of the massive fort after climbing the more than 1,000 steps to get to the top. The music playing in the background is a sneak peek at an early mix of the next single, “Peace.”
Golkonda is a ruined fort of Southern India and capital of medieval Golconda Sultanate (c.1518–1687), it is situated 11 km West of Hyderabad. The region is universally famous for the mines that have stored in its vaults the world’s most famous and coveted gems, including The Hope Diamond, Idol’s Eye, The Koh-i-Noor and Darya-i-Noor.
We took a lot of photos so I’ll try to get some uploaded soon!
