Till There Was You (Live at the LeBlanc Wedding)
This is a live performance of me singing the song “Till There Was You” at my cousin Beau LeBlanc’s wedding. He and his beautiful bride Debbie had asked me to sing this song for them at their wedding on Saturday, June 22, 2013. This beautiful venue was on a hill at the Upper Las Virgenes Wild Open Spaces Ranch in Calabasas, CA. Congratulations you two and thank you for having me be part of your special day!
This song was originally written by Meredith Wilson. He wrote it for the Musical “The Music Man” that was brought to stage in 1957 with also a film version in 1962. Several artists have recorded their own versions including The Beatles who popularized the song.
As it would have been difficult to fly down from Oregon with a sound system and my guitar my cousin rented this beautiful Takamine for me to play, so this is not the guitar I usually perform with. Once I put a nice set of new Elixir strings on it the tone sure was pretty!
As this is a cover of a copyrighted song I have requested and received permission from MPL Music Publishing, Inc. to upload this live wedding performance. All copyrights for the song remain with their rightful owners.
